Since 2012, the Theresienkrankenhaus has been a member of the Verein Qualitätsindikatoren für kirchliche Krankenhäuser (QKK) - the Quality Indicators for Church Hospitals Association, which has set itself the goal of making the result quality of medical services and the special profile of church hospitals more transparent. The quality of care is to be continuously improved by means of a cross-supporting-organisations' benchmark project (comparisons) using three sets of indicators. The implementation is carried out using internal case and process analyses, as well as a cross-supporting-organisation peer review process. The following tools for quality management are used across the specific divisions or departments. A central role is played by interdivisional cooperation, as well as the employees' continuous improvement and learning process.
